Accommodations

• Rooms at the Banff Centre have been booked for you based on your request at registration.
• Your room will be covered under a master account for the nights associated with this meeting:
  • Canadian participants: Arrival March 6; departure March 9
  • Japanese participants: Arrival March 5; departure March 10
• You will be billed upon check-out for any additional nights or incidental charges .
• If your accommodation requirements change after your travel is confirmed or you have any questions please contact Jacqui Sullivan  
• Check in time is 4:00 pm, Check out is at 11:00 am

Rooms

• Our room block is located in Lloyd Hall.
• The rooms have standard hotel amenities including: Linens, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers, irons and a mini fridge.
• There is a vending machine with other items like toothbrushes and toothpaste in the Professional Development Centre if you forget any items.
• Electrical outlets are 120 V, 100 V appliances should work without an adapter or converter.
• See map below for locations of Symposium sessions/rooms etc.

Facilities

• Maclab Bistro: A casual bar/restaurant on campus in the Kinnear Centre. It is open daily from 11:00am - 11:00pm.
• Laundry: Coin laundry and supplies are available in the Professional Development Centre.
• The Sally Borden Recreation Centre features:
  • Fitness Centre: (Cardio equipment, free weights and running track) open Monday to Friday 7:00am - 8:00pm
  • Aquatic Centre: (25 m Pool, hot tub, and wade pool - swim at your own risk. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY) open Monday to Friday 7:00am - 8:00pm
  • Climbing Gym is open 12:00pm - 8:00:pm
